Export A Sales Report
Choose order dates and statuses and handle customer CSV files carefully.
Español · English edition
Audience: authorized store staff with WooCommerce management access.
Commerce’s Sales Reports page exports one row per order for accounting review, including billing information. It is an order export, not a determination of tax obligations or a reconciliation of payment settlements.
Export Your Report
- Open WooCommerce → Sales Reports.
- Choose a quick preset, such as This Quarter, Last Quarter, Year to Date, or Last Year, or enter your own From and To dates.
- Confirm the order statuses. The default selection is processing and completed orders.
- Check the reporting purpose and date range before using the CSV export control.
- Save the file in your organization’s approved location and open it in a spreadsheet application.
The date filter uses order creation date, not settlement or payout date. The store’s timezone determines the date presets. Include the chosen dates and statuses when handing a report to accounting.
Check Before Using The File
Compare a small sample with the same orders in WooCommerce. A different status selection or date basis can explain a difference from another report. Ask accounting which basis and statuses they need. Do not change order data to make two reports agree.
Protect Customer Information
The CSV includes private customer billing data. Restrict access and share it only through an approved channel for the agreed purpose. Do not upload it to a public website or attach it to a public help request. If you need support, provide the selected filters and a redacted example.
