Contact support
Send a useful report and reach the right person for product or union-specific help.
Audience: everyone. Use Empower Union’s contact page for product and service questions. For membership eligibility, application decisions, booking approval or a union-specific request, use your union office’s official contact route.
Choose the right contact
Your union’s account administrator handles assigned access. The workflow reviewer handles a submitted request or correction. Empower Union can help with UnionWP, Pro and the services covered by your agreement. The contact page does not replace your union’s decision-making process.
Prepare the report
- Identify the affected website and page or tool.
- State whether you used the live site or a review environment.
- Describe what you wanted to do, what you expected and what happened instead.
- Record the approximate time and timezone.
- Copy the visible error text or note the relevant log reference.
- List the short sequence that reproduces the problem and checks you already tried.
- Say whether a save, submission, record or notification was created before the problem appeared.
- Add the product version and account role if you can view them; never include the password.
Use a specific example
“On our live website, I paused the event request form at 10:20 a.m. in the site timezone. Saved Availability shows Off (Individual Switch). View Page opens Contact, which I expected. A colleague’s old tab still shows the form. They have not submitted it. Is refreshing the page the next step?”
This gives support a concrete action, saved state and visitor result without exposing a private application. It is more useful than “Forms are broken.”
Share evidence safely
Use a screenshot that shows the page title, relevant state and error. Crop unrelated content and redact personal records, private entry links and secrets. Do not send passwords, connection keys, verification codes, complete application records or private documents in an ordinary message.
If support needs a specific private record, ask for the approved secure channel. A reference, time and redacted error are often enough to begin.
After reporting
Keep the report and reference together. Tell the reviewer if the situation changes or a message arrives later. Before repeating a submission or external test, check whether the earlier action completed so you do not create duplicates.
Response times, coverage and emergency arrangements follow your agreement. No particular response time is promised by this guide. For a current outage, use your agreed incident contact route as well as recording the visible evidence.
