Submit staff requests
Prepare, submit and follow up on content or operational requests.
Audience: union staff assigned to a request workflow. Availability: configured-site workflow. Your union may provide content intake, company or coverage updates, or event-space requests. Forms and review steps vary by site.
Prepare the information
Identify what you want the reviewer to do and gather the details before opening the form. Use complete wording, exact dates and relevant links. Confirm permission for photographs, names and other organizations’ material intended for publication.
| Request | Useful detail to prepare |
|---|---|
| News or content | Proposed headline, complete text, intended audience, publication timing and approved images |
| Coverage correction | The affected public listing, its current information and the exact requested correction |
| Company update | The organization or listing, changed information and any effective date |
| Event-space request | Proposed date, start/end time, purpose and the details requested by the booking form |
These are preparation examples. Complete the actual required fields shown by your union’s form.
Submit the request
- Open the staff link supplied by your union and sign in with your assigned account if required.
- Choose the form for the task. Read its current instructions and availability notices.
- Enter the requested information. Clearly distinguish the change you want from background context.
- Attach the approved files requested by that workflow. Check that you selected the intended versions.
- Review names, dates, links, audience and attachments.
- Submit once and wait for the result. Correct any displayed validation errors.
- Retain the confirmation or reference supplied by the site.
- Follow your union’s review process before announcing that an item is published, approved or booked.
Submitting creates an intake request according to the configured workflow. It does not necessarily change the public website immediately or reserve a space automatically.
Check the outcome and request a correction
Use any status or follow-up method provided by your union. If a request needs correction, contact the reviewer with its reference or submission time and describe the change. Check for an existing request before creating a duplicate.
For public content, check the final published page when the reviewer confirms completion. Verify spelling, links, dates and attachments, then report any remaining correction through the same process.
If access or intake is unavailable
A denied staff page may indicate the wrong account or missing assigned access; use Sign-in and access. A form routed to Contact or marked unavailable may have been paused. Use the contact route shown by the website.
Administrator previews can display an off form without enabling public intake. Do not use a preview to bypass a paused workflow. Keep private membership or employment details out of public-content requests unless that workflow explicitly requires and protects them.
