UnionWP CommerceOrder Notifications

Review Order Notifications

Check the paid-order alert configuration without creating orders or sending tests.

Español · English edition

Audience: store administrators reviewing configuration; store staff reporting a missing alert.

Commerce sends a staff notification when WooCommerce fires its payment-complete event. This is separate from WooCommerce’s own customer and order emails. Not every order status change is a payment-complete event.

Review The Configuration

  1. Administrators open UnionWP Commerce → Settings.
  2. Find the order notification recipients and subject prefix. Confirm the intended recipients with your store’s responsible person.
  3. Check the order in WooCommerce and whether payment was completed. Use the order’s own history; do not alter its status just to provoke an alert.
  4. Compare the time and order number with the recipient’s mailbox, spam folder, and any configured mail-delivery records.

An authorized settings change affects future notifications. Keep notification settings separate from website display controls and request-notification recipients.

If An Alert Is Missing

Record the order number, time, visible payment status, and whether another WooCommerce email arrived. Ask the administrator to review delivery configuration. A configured recipient or stored notification marker does not prove inbox delivery. Avoid sharing customer details in a public support request.

Do not create a paid order, trigger a payment, or reset a notification marker simply to follow this guide. A live delivery test needs its own agreed test procedure. See Contact support.
